The NEW HPE JL251A 40GB BASE-BiDi MMF LC QSFP+ Transceiver is a high-performance networking module designed to enhance data transmission in fiber optic networks. With its Bi-Directional (Bi-Di) technology, this transceiver allows bidirectional communication over a single multimode fiber strand.

This hot-pluggable transceiver features an LC duplex connector and supports up to 40 gigabits per second of data transfer rate over distances of up to 150 meters on OM4 multimode fiber. It operates at wavelengths around, simplifying network cabling by allowing multiple channels on just one pair of fibers.
