Self-Metering — No Measuring Equipment
The solid cartridge format self-meters as it dissolves — eliminating the need for measuring devices, dosing pumps or liquid handling infrastructure. Significantly simplifies dust suppression operations at crushers and transfer points.
Lowers Water Surface Tension
Synthetic surfactant technology lowers water surface tension — allowing the solution to penetrate and effectively knock down dust particles that water alone cannot reach, delivering superior suppression at lower water consumption rates.
Hard Water Compatible
Performs reliably in the hard water conditions typical of Northern Cape and Western Cape mining operations — no performance degradation or scale build-up in water distribution systems from mineral-heavy borehole or dam water sources.

Applications
Continuous Miners
Primary design application — in-line cartridge installation at the water spray bar of continuous mining machines for sustained dust suppression at the cutting face.
Crushers
Primary and secondary crusher dust suppression — cartridge installed in the water supply line delivers consistent chemical suppression without operator intervention during continuous crushing operations.
Transfer Points
Conveyor transfer points, chutes and loading zones where material drop generates fine dust requiring chemical suppression for worker health protection and NDCR compliance.
Note: Solubility of DUSTGRIP® JFP-95 will depend on water temperature and flow velocity — higher water temperature and flow rate will increase the dissolution rate. Consult Orbit Industrial for application-specific sizing guidance.
