The ReTurn Disposable Transferring Belt (Pack of 5) is used for sit-to-stand, transfers and gait training procedures. When more support and stability is needed, the belt is an excellent complement to any of the ReTurn Sit-to-Stand Aids. The ReTurn Disposable Belt is made from non-woven, durable material that is designed for single-use to prevent the spread of infectious bacteria, and is available to purchase in several sizes depending on the user's needs.
Support for the User
Where there is a need for greater support and stability, for example, when the user's weight-bearing ability is questionable or varies, this belt avoids caregivers needing to overexert themselves during transfer.
The ReTurn Disposable Belt works in conjunction with any of the devices from the ReTurn range, however it can also be used separately for support during sit-to-stand transfers and to stabilise a patient in an upright position, for example during standing training, gait training and transfer.
Preventing the Spread of Bacteria
This Pack of Five Disposable Belts are made from sturdy and durable non-woven material that, instead of laundering, is thrown away when it becomes soiled or the user no longer needs it. This prevents the spread of multi-resistant and other types of infectious bacteria, making it suitable to use in hospitals and clinical environments.
Sizing of the ReTurn Disposable Transferring Belt
The ReTurn Disposable Belt is available in four different sizes. Please measure around the widest part of the user's hips and refer to the table below to see which size will be appropriate:
