The iPad 8 (Cellular) comes in 3 colours, Silver, Gold, and Space Grey. The design is made up of solid aluminum and glass but remains light and portable. It’s both durable and comfortable to use as it weighs only 495 grams.

The display offers an amazing viewing experience with a 10.2-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit Multi-Touch display with IPS technology, 2160 x 1620 pixels at 264 pixels per inch. It also offers fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating and the display's brightness at 500 nits provides better visibility, especially outdoors.

Alongside the magnificent display, you can play with the 1st generation Apple pencil (sold separately). This wonderful accessory is still an easy-pairing stylus with excellent sensitivity that lets you take notes, draw, and make precise touches efficiently. The unit is also supported with Stereo speakers, for an amazing viewing experience.

Enjoy a premium camera experience on this iPad with its camera setup. The iPad 8 (Cellular) sports an 8MP main rear camera. The 1.2MP front-facing FaceTime HD camera features Retina Flash, Backside illumination, HDR photos and videos, exposure control, and Body & Face detection. It also offers 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps, and Slo-mo video support for 720p at 120fps.

It houses an A12 Bionic chip (CPU) and is available in 32GB and 128GB. The iPad 8 (Cellular) has a built-in 32.4-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that enables up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching video, or listening to music and up to 9 hours of surfing the web using a cellular data network.

Update 2 weeks later — tried a replacement, hoped from a different batch. But this one was even less safe, no safety seals or even tape, and not even a product box, just a ready-to-ship baggie. Really sad, really needed this for a family member with low saliva, mouth psoriasis, and chewing-swallowing problems. No idea what to try next bc most products we have seen here have so many chemicals, sweeteners, and flavorings that are harsh for us, they would be impossible to use, worseners. We are giving up on this product, will try asking amazon for a final refund, will keep trying to find something else, and hope our family member will be able to keep eating in the meantime. Dumping unsafe product on consumers just hurts. Bought in mid-Apr-2026, expected to love this — simple, soothing ingredients for mouth psoriasis and low saliva. But, packaging was unsafe — safety tape on outside of cap, but no actual safety seal inside, cap was simple, loose screw-on not flip-top, and gel was leaking. Amazon ai said to not use, and to request a replacement or refund. So we chatted with Amazon customer service, and they refunded. We hope a replacement from a different batch will be safer.
